Paragraph

Hive Scout is a forward thinking digital platform designed to connect photographers, videographers, cretives with accessible spaces for shoots and filming. I assisted in integrating accessiblity and sustainable fresng fetures into the platform.

Through user research, three core needs emerged as the most requested features for creative space rentals:

 - Accessibility – Users wanted clear ADA-compliant options, ensuring inclusive access for all creatives.
 - Flexibility – A seamless way to book spaces that fit their schedules, team sizes, and equipment needs.
 - Clarity & Transparency – A frustration-free experience with detailed listings, upfront pricing, and accurate visuals to avoid surprises.

Users emphasized the importance of customizable search options to match their unique project requirements. The platform needed to be intuitive yet adaptable, offering:

 - Filter options for space type, activity, team size, and sustainability attributes, making it easy to refine searches.
 - A streamlined discovery interface designed to simplify the booking journey and highlight key space features upfront.
 - Enhanced accessibility filters, ensuring creatives could easily find spaces that meet ADA standards, lighting needs, and technical setups.

By incorporating these insights into the design, I developed a user flow that prioritizes effortless navigation, tailored search experiences, and a frictionless booking process—empowering creatives to focus on what they do best: creating.

The user flow for Hive Scout is designed to offer a seamless, intuitive experience for creatives looking for the perfect space for their projects. It begins with an easy-to-navigate search bar where users can enter details such as location, event date, activity type, and additional filters like accessibility features, sustainability options, or unique venue characteristics. Based on these inputs, users are presented with a curated list of creative spaces that match their preferences.

Once users find the ideal space and review the product details, they are prompted to send a booking request to the host. The booking process assumes that the user is already signed in. If not, they will be prompted to sign in or create an account. The registration process is simple and straightforward, allowing users to create a unique, customizable profile. After registering, users can easily access their personalized profile to manage bookings, messages, and future reservations, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience with each return to the platform.
